About this audiobook

Kennedy Ryan and Brooke Nicholas have circled around one another for years without getting to know one another, but getting stuck together during a post-college trip is going to change that. Kennedy finally realizes she may have only scratched the surface where Brooke is concerned, and Brooke is terrified that she's falling in love with her best friend.

The threes company routine can be humorous until it crosses into irritation and dribble. I’d forget I was listening to a book because it dragged on and on. Great premise but it was not engaging. I was happy at the end more out of relief it was over.

I adored this. It’s likely one that will get bumped up to a fiver upon a reread or listen. I’ve loved (nearly) every book by Monica MacCallan, and I’ve loved the three that I’ve listened to narrated by Lori Prince the most. This narrator/author combination is PERFECTION. i really loved both main characters here, but Brooke especially stole my heart. This was such a good (lil bit of enemies) to friends to lovers story, but there is so much more to it. Brooke and Kennedy each individually figuring themselves and early adulthood out separately (and together) was just such a good journey. This will be a reread and listen, for sure. I really hope she gets Lori Prince to narrate basically all of her other stories. Absolute rec.

It is a frustratingly slow burn, but if you are into such things, you will love it. Good writing, good characters.

My least favorite from this author. Endless angst and very repetitive. Should of been a 4 hour book... it just dragged on. Not sure I'll keep following the author.
Lori Prince was FABULOUS, and to be honest the only reason I read the entire book.
