About this audiobook

#1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER!

At one of the most chaotic periods in American history, in a time of national distrust and despair, one tanned TV host holds the key to the future.

In How I Saved the World, Jesse Watters takes readers on a tour of his life from basement-dwelling Fox minion to pampered champion of right-thinking Americans. He has divined great truths about the nature of our country while stumbling across beaches asking oblivious college students basic political questions and while stumbling out of Air Force One with the President.

Interspersed are his thoughtful suggestions for overcoming left-wing radicalism, maintaining American democracy, moving beyond aging hippies (like his long-suffering, loving parents), saving the world from social justice warriors and the deep state—all while smirking his way through life in only the nicest way.

Watters outlines the stark choice ahead of us between all-American hamburgers and leftist Green New Deal breadlines (okay, maybe that one is a no-brainer) and shows the way for order and fairness to be restored. A manifesto and a call-to-arms from a man for all seasons, How I Saved the World is a hilarious, enlightening, entertaining book with a reasonable chance of winning a Nobel Prize in every category, even chemistry.

Watters’ candor and sense of humor is only rivaled by that of Tucker Carlson.

I'm one of Jesse's fans, and of Gutfeld. This is a very amusing book which I couldn't put down. I enjoyed it very much. Especially some of the interactions with Melania and Trump. Also the surprise interviews with corrupt judges!

You ever read a book about history and you have a good idea what it will end with?
The BIG story, the thing you really want the background on.
This book by Waters really started out well but he blew it in the end.
Let me ask you, what was the biggest story that this book should have covered?!?
Election fraud, and what real facts that there was fraud that may have given us a stolen election. He spent less than a page on it AND THATS THE STORY OF THIS CENTURY! I understand that working for Fox News he’s not allowed to really to talk about the election big lie, but it’s still disappointing. There are bogus reports of fraud but there is also real evidence to be exposed and Jesse just chickened out in the end. So sad.

Book title and author: How I Saved the World Jesse Waters reviews 1-26-25

Why I picked this book up: I watch YouTube, saw him as one of the conservatives on the 5 and wanted to see what he had to save even with the ridiculous name of his first book (this book).

Thoughts: At one of the most chaotic periods in American history, in a time of national distrust and despair, one tanned TV host holds the key to the future.
In How I Saved the World, Jesse Watters takes readers on a tour of his life from basement-dwelling Fox minion to pampered champion of right-thinking Americans. Why I finished this read: He gives his thoughts on 320 pages with 16 characters that was not really informative. I could have stopped but continued just to finish. This book was not one I would not typically read but since I started it I finished. I’m not sure if I want to read his second book I bought, we’ll see.

Stars rating: 3 of 5 stars only because it was sort of funny sometimes
