Fast paced and filled to the brim with suspense, this novel takes you on a wild ride from start to finish! I had such a hard time putting this book down. I loved how we got to read more about characters from previous novels. I do think the story flows best if you read the series in order. I really liked the chemistry between Tae and Colt. There is romantic tension well woven into the suspense. I also loved the integration of spiritual truth of following God’s plan. I have really enjoyed this series and cannot recommend this terrific final book enough!I received a complimentary copy of this book from Revell Publishing. Opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.

Sundown is the third book in the Sky King Ranch series, and the reader would best understand the the characters and the backstory of Sundown if Sunrise and Sunburst were read first. In Sundown, Taylor Price and Colt Kingston are on the run, hiding from Russian mobsters who plan to deploy a deadly virus on U.S. soil. Taylor had figured out how to create the vaccine, but her notes are long gone, so she and her partner Zoe will have to try to re-create it. As Colt, with the help of his brothers Dodge and Ranger, and the rest of the special ops team work to take down the Russian mobsters and secure the virus, Taylor works not only to create the vaccine but to try to control the overwhelming feelings she has developed for Colt so she won’t be left with a broken heart when the mission is over.Sundown is full of action from start to finish — a very exciting read. I really love the characters in this whole series. The Kingston brothers — Colt, Dodge, and Ranger — are all very endearing characters, as is their father. Taylor, or Tae, as she is called throughout the book is not a new character to this book. She was introduced in the first book of the series, Sunrise, and her character has been built throughout the series. But we really get to know her well in this book, and she and Colt have such great chemistry. Both of these two main characters share a brokenness that come from loss and led to a deterioration of their sense of self-worth and their sense that they deserve to be loved. It crumbled their faith, and so this story is not just about them saving the U.S. from a deadly virus or about their feelings for each other. It’s about them learning that they are worthwhile and deserving of love and that God never abandoned them. Overall, I really enjoyed reading Sundown, and I appreciate the elements of faith that the author incorporates into her stories.*I received a complimentary copy of this book. This is the third book in the Sky King Ranch series and it's a thrilling conclusion. Colt Kingston is the primary focus in Sundown, but we also see his brothers Dodge and Ranger in action again. There's just something special about these Kingston triplets and their dad Barry. Is it their bravery? Their willingness to serve and protect their country? Or the faith in God that helps them survive and thrive? Yep, these Kingston men are truly amazing!Sundown is filled with non-ending action and intense danger as Colt and Tae Price work feverishly to find a bioweapon before catastrophic destruction can occur. They also find themselves fighting the undeniable chemistry between them. No surprise since this is a Susan May Warren book. There has to be some clean but sizzling romance mixed in with the suspense! Sundown is definitely the book for you if you're looking for amazing characters and a strong faith message. It's an attention-grabbing contemporary romance that keeps you turning the pages until you reach its totally satisfying end!I received a review copy courtesy of Revell through Interviews & Reviews for my honest opinion.

Sundown is the third book and the conclusion to the Sky King Ranch series by Susan May Warren. I was glad to be able to read Colt's story. There is so much going on in this story, and the more I read, the more it reminded me of our real world as the talk of the dangerous and maybe deadly issues they were facing. Warren does a fantastic job researching her story, and I love the many details in the story making it so realistic. With distinguished characters and a fast paced storyline, this one is sure to be a page turner that may keep you up a few extra hours at night. As usual with Susan May Warren, you will find faith in the lives of most her her characters and throughout the book. At times I felt like I was reading the newspaper or watching the news with the issues going on, which sometimes made me feel I was sitting around talking to these characters in real life. I'm sorry to see this series end, but I know Warren has another series going for her readers and I can't wait. A special thanks to the author/publisher for a copy of this book. I was happy to revisit the guys of Sky King Ranch, and they along with the women in their lives were once again living on the edge. The danger this time centered on Colt and Tae, danger from the elements as well as from terrorists. Of course his brothers have their backs and join them in the thick of things. While I did enjoy this story, I did not enjoy it as much as I did the second book in this series. It lacked the realism of that book which was a distraction, and it was more predictable. That said, it still brought me enough reading pleasure that I feel comfortable recommending it to others. I am grateful to have received a complimentary copy of Sundown from Revell via NetGalley without obligation. All opinions expressed here are my own.

I loved this last book in this series. I love that every main character from the first two books was in this book. I love all the action and the romance. I enjoyed how inspirational and emotional this story was. I also loved the suspense. I received a copy of this book from the publisher for a fair and honest opinion that I gave of my own free will.

"Bravery isn't the absence of fear. It's doing what you must do, despite the fear."Wow, the conclusion of the Sky King Ranch is a doozy. Overflowing with adrenaline, unbelievable action, heart-pounding plot twists, incredible faith lessons, and tender romance, Colt and Tae's story will enchant you from the first page. From the frozen beauty of Alaska to warm humidity of Florida, you'll feel like you're right there with them as the characters work against the clock to find and neutralize a bioweapon.I loved Tae's logical, scientific mind that complimented Colt's impulsive, creative spirit. Their shared goal to make a difference in the world by saving lives bound them together despite their differences. Ranger and Noemi had voices in this story as well; their life together as a married couple facing so many challenges was a tear-jerker but also a heart-warmer. Seeing the Caleb Group again, along with references to some of the Montana Marshalls, was so much fun. Jones, Inc. group had a big presence in the story and I'm hoping to see more of the guys from the group in future Susan May Warren's books. The beauty of redemption and forgiveness is displayed in full color as the Kingston triplets finally all come home. You can't go wrong with a Susan May Warren novel. She consistently delivers mind-blowing romantic suspense filled with memorable and lovable characters. I can't wait for her next series! I received the book from the publisher via NetGalley and was under no obligation to post a positive comment. All opinions are my own.

Sundown by Susan May Warren is the third book in the Sky King Ranch series. This story does take over where the previous have left off so it is best to read them in order. This is a well written story that kept me reading just to see what was going to happen next. There is so much action and suspense in this story, at times it is unbelievable. Colt and Tae are strong characters who care about others and do what they need to do to protect others. I felt they both had high opinions of themselves with Colt going into action too soon after his injury and Tae felt only she could protect people from a strange virus.I enjoyed reading this story, catching up with members of the Kingston family and seeing what lays ahead for them. The story is filled with so much action and so many secrets it was kind of hard to know who was the bad guys and why. The emotions that run through the story as the men leave the women behind. The story is filled with action, suspense, mystery and romance.I voluntarily received a complimentary copy of this book through the Sundown Launch Team event, this is my honest review.

I truly enjoyed and loved this series! And the last book in the series did not disappoint. It had action, intrigue, romance, adventure and the characters continued to be engaging. Colt and Tae had great chemistry and I enjoyed their adventure. I also liked that the characters from the previous books were a big part of the story. These books seamlessly wove together. I loved the underlying theme of redemption and forgiveness. I could relate to the characters’ struggles. Honestly, I found it hard to put this book down and am a little sad that it’s done! But I definitely am looking forward to reading more from this author!Thank you LibraryThing, Baker Publishing Group and Revell for the opportunity to receive an ARC of this book!

I have been privileged to write reviews on all three books in the Sky King Ranch series. Following this family through pain, love, life faith has been a true pleasure. That said, the last Sky King Ranch novel Sundown is a good as the rest and in some ways surpasses them. When a mysterious woman is found in the Alaskan snow, Colt Kingston not only is amazed she survived but that he knows her. Secrets pile up as high as the drifts and the Kingston brothers are determined to discover them. Add into all this the fact the Colt’s heart is not acting right makes life even more confusing. A near death experience makes him take notice of his surroundings and his feelings for the mysterious women.Alaskan scenery well described, caring families and a plot worthy of the best mystery story this is well worth looking at and, while you’re at it, check out the first two in the series: Sunrise and Sunburst

Sundown is no 3 in the Sky King Ranch series. I really liked how the series started out in the first book with the setting in Alaska but as the series went on the plots of the following books became more complicated. The second was set in Nigeria and the third book was all over the place with its plot and the location. The third one featured the third triplet Kingston brother Colt but the storyline jumped between Colt and his brother Ranger. Plot involved Russian spies and bio hazard warfare. Not really my cup of tea. Normally I love a Susan May Warren book but this one was not for me.

Thanks to LibraryThing for providing me an ARC book in exchange for my honest review.

Title: Sundown (Sky King Ranch #3)Author: Susan May WarrenPages: 352Year: 2022Publisher: RevellMy rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe final installment in the Sky King Ranch series focuses on Colt Kingston and a woman he nicknamed Flo. Flo is actually a highly specialized doctor in immunology and is trying to create a vaccine that will make the threat of bioterrorism mute. Flo is known later on in the book as Tae, and she seems to be the main protagonist that is constantly in danger from villains.Colt is one of the Kingston triplets that we met in the previous two books, Sunrise and Sunburst. Colt is a protector who is facing a major health issue as is Ranger who readers learn about in the second book. The science in the book gets a little technical for me and bogs down the progress of the tale. In all three books, the brothers meet amazing women who are able to complement them and fulfill them in life. The suspense is off the charts, which is one reason I enjoy reading Susan’s books. I enjoy her highlighting the military in her tales though I would appreciate less high-tech jargon. There was one series of hers that I didn’t read due to the heaviness of the specific naming of mountain climbing equipment that I couldn’t understand. However, read her books and enjoy the strong element of faith and family. You won’t regret the time you spend with a book!Note: The opinions shared in this review are solely my responsibility.

Sky King Ranch book 3 is the perfect wrap for an exciting, touching story about triplet brothers who grew up in Alaska, joined different branches of the Service and grew apart. After harrowing escapes from terrorists and different types of dangerous situations they come home to recover from physical and emotional wounds. Healing is anything but a given when they each find themselves protecting the women in their lives. Every book leads into the next, so start reading book one and two as you wait for this one to be released this fall. I’m thankful to Revel and Librarything for introducing me to this series. Just the right touch of action, romance and faith. I’ll be looking for more by Susan May Warren.
