About this audiobook

Nate Long has always watched over his identical twin brother, Aaron, even when it put him on the wrong side of the law. When Aaron is wounded in a
shootout, the brothers are taken to Settler’s Fort to recover. As Nate works to make reparations for their past, he marvels at the care Aaron receives from a woman with all the reason in the world to resent him.

Laura Hannon knows what it is to start over, and she knows Nate’s newfound faith is real. What she can’t look past is how far he allowed himself to be led
astray by his brother’s weaknesses. But when memories of her own brothers’ tragic end come back to haunt her, she vows to do whatever she can to keep Aaron alive.

As a fledgling trust grows between Nate and Laura, they stumble upon a mysterious cave in the mountains that may not be as uninhabited as it seems.
While working together to unravel the secrets surrounding the cave, will the new lives they seek for themselves include love, or does too much stand between them?

This book is another example of Misty M. Beller's ability to transport readers back to another time and place with her vivid descriptions of the beauty of the Montana Mountains and the harsh living conditions that existed there in the late 1860s. Settler's Fort in the Montana Territory is the setting of Faith's Mountain Home and Laura Hannon is faced with some painful decisions when she finds that two of the men responsible for her recent kidnapping are now with her at the fort. Aaron Long is seriously injured and in need of medical care but can she set aside her painful memories to help him? His brother Nate regrets his actions and has turned to God but will Laura accept that he is truly a changed man?I admired Nate for his determination to change and Laura for her encouragement but it is their growing attraction that makes this so special. Faith's Mountain Home is a heartwarming story of faith, forgiveness, and redemption and it's the perfect way to end the Hearts of Montana series. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys historical Christian romance.I received a complimentary copy from the author via Celebrate Lit. There was absolutely no obligation for a positive review. These are my own thoughts.

Faith's Mountain Home, by Misty M. Beller, is books three in the Hearts of Montana series. This story takes place in 1867 in the Montana territory. This story takes over where the second in the series ends with the same characters, so it is best to read them in order to get the whole story. The author does a good job of filling in the past for those who want to read it as a stand alone story.Following a kidnapping in book two, Laura is staying with the local doctor and his wife while helping him. She shot one of her kidnappers and he has been a patient since. His brother, Nate, visits him every day after working in the mine to pay off the people the gang stole from. This is such a good series. I enjoy the good clean story of a friendship that builds into something more. I especially enjoy see the change that takes place in Nate following his decision to follow Jesus. The determination he has to pay back those they stole from as fast as possible is remarkable. He lives in a tent and hunts for his food to work towards his goal and to pay his brother's medical bills. His time is so limited yet he finds a way to help others.I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from Celebrate Lit through NetGalley. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.

Nate and Laura are a great couple. They have a lot of baggage that they have to get past before they can get together but it is worth it for them. I also love the suspense that runs through the story. I really enjoyed reading this western historical romance. There are many wonderful descriptions of the area also. I received a copy of this book from Celebratelit for a fair and honest opinion that I gave of my own free will.

I love the way the author not only takes readers on a vivid journey through caves and mountains but transports readers back in time. I could feel Laura’s feet slip as she hugged the mountainside. She has had a hard time forgiving herself for shooting Aaron. Now she carries the guilt of him never being able to walk again. I liked the back story about her brother and the tragic end he chose. In this time period there wasn’t much a doctor could do to insure that Aaron would ever be able to walk again. Nate is a caring and faithful man who tries so hard to help his brother Aaron. It isn’t easy to see his brother in so much pain and losing his faith. I think it was a little hard for him also because Laura has become special to him. They must both fight to help Aaron overcome his lack of wanting to go on. I really enjoyed the adventure the author takes us on as we enter caves thought to be uninhabited. It was a shock to find people there, but there is also a mystery about the caves. Why is someone hiding supplies in the cave? This propels Laura and Nate to work closely with each to solve the mystery hiding in the cave. There is danger that comes their way, but in the midst of everything there is God. I absolutely loved the scene between Aaron and Laura. It is no surprise that Aaron is bitter towards God and Laura. He is struggling to want to keep going but is discouraged. Laura and Nate don’t give up and continue to push Aaron to fight for strength. A beautiful moment in the story that made me cry is when Aaron humbled himself and lets down the barrier that has held him back from believing in God. This is the best of the story and I have to say Aaron was my favorite character. To witness the anger, bitterness and hopelessness fall away is what makes this story so inspiring. I received a copy of this book from Celebrate Lit. The review is my own opinion.

The author has given us a wonderful conclusion to the Hearts of Montana series. The detailed scenery makes you feel like you are on that mountain side along with the well developed characters as they work through the past to find a future in Settler’s Fort, Montana. The physical pain as well as unforgiveness felt by Aaron, due to poor choices, was palpable. It seemed to be impossible to help him, even if you were his twin brother, Nate. Finding a cave with its own mysteries gives Laura and Nate a chance to focus on helping someone else. Between danger, kidnapping and surprises the story brings the reader around to a lovely end to this series where forgiveness and trusting in the Lord make all the difference. An ARC was received through Baker Publishing Group and NetGalley. The rating, impressions and comments are my own and were in no way solicited.
