This series is great. I believe this book is about helping people in ways that that arent easy. When love someone you go the extra mile for them and you dont give up on them. I really enjoyed Shelby character. She grows as a person in this book. I do enjoy the unity that continues in Virgin River. The town shows up for each other in good and bad times.

I love nearly all of Robyn Carrs books, but my favorite series is Thunder Point. Temptation Ridge is my least favorite of all her books mainly because of Luke. He just came off as a selfish jerk in the way he treated Shelby, and it got to be really irritating! Ms Carr always has multiple storylines and romances in her books, but this one was over the top! WAY too many characters and romances to keep up with that added little to the story. At one point there were THREE CONSECUTIVE CHAPTERS in which the the H and h were not even mentioned! I kept waiting for Luke to redeem himself and in my estimation he NEVER did! The “happy ending” left a sour taste in my mouth! I hope the next book in the series is better.

I enjoyed this next episode in the series but felt the descriptive sex was repetitive & overdone.
