About this audiobook
The Snarkout Boys are back with a wackier-than-ever tale! This time there' s a monster on the loose in Baconburg, and the teens are caught in the middle of all the happenings— from the silly to the sillier.
High school sophomores Waiter Gait, Winston Bongo, and Rat Matthews take time off from their nightly "snarking" (secret moviegoing) to stop in at the beatnik-style Dharma Buns Coffee House— where there's a werewolf scare in the kitchen. Is there indeed a werewolf on the prowl— or just a pseudo-werewolf— or what?

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5What it does it does very well. I laughed out loud. Alas, there is not a single copy of "The Snarkout Boys and the Avocado of Death" in the entire Merrimack Valley Library Consortium.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Pinkwater is the master of the wacky weird. Movie palaces, werewolves, donuts, beatniks and a chicken man all feature in this hilarious tale of two boys and their dangerous hobby of sneaking out (snarking out) of the house in the middle of the night to see movies. I can't believe this book is out-of-print. It just ain't right.
