Laura Frantz is one of my favorite historical fiction authors and this older novel didn’t disappoint. It was a page turner for me with a compelling plot and memorable characters. I enjoyed the addition of historical info regarding the family of Daniel Boone. The author always gives careful attention to historical details which I greatly appreciate!
