Ben Cheetham

Ben Cheetham is an award-winning writer and Pushcart Prize nominee. His writing spans genres, but he has a passion for dark, gritty crime fiction. He lives in Sheffield, UK, where—when he's not chasing around after his son—he spends most of his time locked away in his study racking his brain for the next paragraph, the next sentence, the next word. I don't even know where to start to write this review!! So, I have been waiting forever for this book and it's sequel to come back available here on Scribd....and I could not have been any more excited when I saw that it did.

Cheetham's writing is impeccable! This is pure proof that a ghost story does not have to have jump scares, be extra bloody and gory to be a great story! Yes, Fenton House was the star of this book and what it does is provide that perfect setting to give you nightmares! Believe me, I will not give you any clues as to what you are going to find behind the walls and doors of this sprawling mansion, but once you turn the cover or listen to this family's reason to escape their London home after the accidental death of one of their young twin boys you will never forget Fenton House or Ben Cheetham's writing. Now I am going to delve back into Fenton house in House of Mirrors!

HIGHLY recommended! You won't regret it!
