Ok, this book was clever and funny and sad and kinda gross. I would’ve liked it if reading it in book form, but the audiobook was priceless because of the narrator. The voices and inflections made me laugh out loud a bunch of times! Highly recommend!

A fun time. Nice to listen to something different. Made me laugh and cringe!

It had its moments of humor but the plot line was not good. I couldn’t get passed some of the larger plot holes and the ending was a huge let down. It was like the author didn’t know how to end the story so the ending they chose was lackluster.

Unique and hilarious audiobook. Horror, blood, guts and gore. Great writing and superb narration. Funny... the narrator and his voices made it more so. Totally enjoyable but if you are not into dark humor or horror, don't take away a great story because it's not your thing. If it is your thing go for it.

    What a wild ride.
One of the best books I've ever read and wish more people read it so I can talk about how off the wall it was.
Epitome of "never let them know your next move"

Very weird, felt a bit on the long side, but fun. Fantastic narrator.

Passably diverting combination of body horror and comedy. The characters are better than they have to be—Andy is a particularly rich specimen of Southern rural paranoia. But I can’t determine how much of the verve and color comes from the writer and how much is the work of the flawless narrator John Wayne Communale.
