About this audiobook

With nowhere left to run—where will you go?

Most of the world’s population is either dead or dying from a virus that looks a lot like the one Bree and Nate tried to destroy—and not all of them remain dead. Chased by hordes of zombies, they flee the city with what remains of their merry band of miscreants. But even when most of them survive the first day, they are far from safe—because there is no safe place left. The fight for survival forces them to become resourceful, and soon they realize that the undead might not be their only problem. In this new world, it’s each man or woman out for themselves—and just because someone has a pulse doesn’t necessarily mean they make a good ally.

Yet there is hope—a bunker in Wyoming, outfitted with weapons and food, and above all else, defensible shelter for the winter. Can they survive the two-thousand-miles trip across the country with nothing but the clothes on their back and what they can scavenge along they way? This is not the kind of challenge that Bree ever imagined she would have to face, but she’s determined to survive—even if that means to learn how to on the job.

Chapter 19 and 26 are missing. So missed a major secret and group information but it is what it is.

Really good story. Book 2 was very good and covered a lot of stuff. Some was very adult situations and really not suited for people under 18. I am now looking forward to book 3 of 12. The narrator is great and love the different voices she gives the different characters. Especially the accent she gives PIA . One of the main characters.

This book was building up to pretty good. I could look past some gripes, but then Chapter 24 hit and I DNFed. This whole book the FMC is trying to prove herself, and she does time and time again, but she’s belittled by the MC’s every time and then Ch.24 happens, she fucks up. That’s fine, she’s owning up to it, but then she starts groveling to them when she should have told them to fuck off with their bullshit. And then they beat the shit out of her stomach. A place on the body full of vital organs that if became damaged and infect in a zombie apocalypse, she would die. And to me, the guys don’t seem that fucking dumb to do that. So I DNFed. Another story that could have had a strong female lead and got ruined for no perceivable reason

I went into this book blind and I was actually not disappointed. it was nice and the ending was very satisfying for a zombie book.

Like the series. Where does gasoline come from. No gas stations? No way to pump manually. 1 electric car in book3. Hard problem for author to solve, so she just overlooked how her characters would get 2000 miles. Cannot get that big flaw out of my brain. Then bad people.driving have the electric car. Are the walkers going to drive? Like the interplay between characters. The fuel thing is a huge hole which should have been worked around in initial outline. The mention by Bri of solar panel on car for power, really tells us the glaring absence of fuel. A battery is not enough. Where is your editor????
