      So pleased this is the first book in the series, looking forward to meeting these characters again and again.

      Wonderful story. Interesting characters and a believable plot! I really enjoyed it.

      Deftly written, great characters...a real sense of humanity and its complexities. I felt respected by the author, not manipulated by gratuitous threats. I'm going to start immediately on the next book -- that's the best vote of confidence!
