About this audiobook
The River Thames always gives up its dead…
There’s a killer picking off victims from the wild swimming spots on the upper reaches of the Thames. The case takes Detective Inspector Leo George into the path of Jess Bridges, a private investigator who lives life close to the edge.
Their enquiries lead them to author, Jago Jackson, whose book on secret wild swimming spots has turned him into a social media celebrity. Is Jago’s book the blueprint that the murderer is following? If so, does that make Jago a target or the killer himself? Either way, the duo find themselves swimming in some very dangerous waters …

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Likable peopleFar too often these days writers seem to feel they must include characters who are jerks. Not the bad guys, but the main team. That Ms Stirling avoids this temptation is a good thing. Not that her characters are one-dimensional goodie goodies; they are well realized people with foibles and faults, but also good manners and humor. This was a very enjoyable book and I am looking forward to the next installment.I received a review copy of "Black River" by Joss Stirling from HarperCollins UK through NetGalley.com.
