About this audiobook
At forty, Lan Davis is looking for his damned picket fence and two point five kids. What he doesn't expect is instead of a wife in the picture, his mind keeps conjuring up images of two men. One, his partner in the force, who is as straight as they came, the other an ex, who he'd hurt but never forgot.
After an incident leaves Lan injured, the two men rally around him . . . only maybe they shouldn't have. It seems a medicated Lan is a truthful one.
Parker Wilding is pissed at the world. His anger builds when his partner refuses medical care after an attack. Instead, Lan entrusts his neighbor to take care of him-a guy Parker doesn't trust. While he's aware they share a history, when the past is revealed, the truth shocks the hell out of him.
Being emotionally crushed ten years ago, Easton Ravel hoped he would never have to see the man who broke him again. Hope is a fickle b*itch. And now he's not sure how to handle being face-to-face with the man he once loved. Add in the mix the annoying, testy Parker, and Easton finds his limits are pushed.
Just not in the way he thought they would be.
What happens next sure does come out of the blue.
Contains mature themes.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Love between 3 men. Old mistakes from the past and a bright future for them all. Yes there is some suspense to this book. It’s was a great story!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Love Lila Rose. Read all the Hawks MC series and others can’t recommend her enough.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Audiobook 4 stars, 3.5 stars for the story. It was entertaining.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Boring and had a very unnecessary story line where Easton's father was concerned.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5I had a couple issues with this story.
There is a lot of “WHY DO I FEEL THIS WAY?!??” With no follow up or insight into the answer to that question, which is not compelling in a character. Take us into their insights and their brains and their journey to accepting themselves or the situation they are in or their feelings.
There’s a part where someone kills a person and their partner seems fine with it. I think that whole scene should have inspired more struggle or conflict between the people… dating someone who literally takes the law into their own hands to mete out justice??… idk. That’s not something to skim over.
Also the language toward women in this story is really atrocious. Lots of slut shaming and misogyny. Also really off putting…
Giving it a one star because this story is a really awful portrayal of “romance.” The characters are at best bland and at worst murderous misogynists. There is a lot of really good gay smut out there. This story is not one of them. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Loved it! Excellent narration! Rich plot line with highly entertaining and likeable characters ???
