Well, this is a hard one. This book was a good read, but not one of my favorites from this author. It kind of felt like it took bits and pieces from the Ring series and cobbled it together for a new quick read. Not a lot of new ideas, at least in this first novel.
Generally, when I Start a Morgan Rice book. It's a wonderful story, combined with Rich characters and a wonderful world. This gets three stars just in the hope it will get better. Don't get me wrong, it's still entertaining just not what one would expect from this Author.
Oh, I received a copy of this book for an honest review.

Did not even finish the first chapter, this is one narrator I'll be avoiding. I can't tell if it's a lisp of how they recorded it, but it sounds like he's half whispering his words.
Difficult to hear and understand, anyone who dislikes these sort of narrators stay away.

Captivating book. Other than a few sexually suggestive parts that I didn’t appreciate it was well written.
