About this audiobook
In Soul to Soul Gary Zukav addresses some of the most fundamental questions about the human experience -- from "Why is life so difficult?" to "How can I learn to trust?" -- with profound answers that are of truly universal value.
Soul to Soul provides penetrating insights that illuminate our lives and encourage us to examine our own experiences in new and perhaps life-changing ways. Combining true spirituality with profound psychological insight, Zukav also answers nearly one hundred of the most important questions about life that anyone could ask, including:
Do we have a destiny?
Can you prove that life exists after death?
What is the meaning of dreams?
How can I love without fear?
What is the role of soul in my life?
How does a person know what he was put on earth to do?
How can I forgive someone who betrays me again and again?
How can I really change?
Does the Universe care about us?
Soul to Soul is profoundly simple, wise, and poetic, a listening experience to return to again and again for guidance and inspiration.

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5The sole purpose of this book seems to be to set him up as a guru to sell his workshops. He constantly makes broad unsupported universal statements and asserts things without evidence. I felt quite manipulated and just wanted him to stop including me in his royal "we". He got off on the wrong foot with me on the first chapter "Evolution". Everything he says about scientific evolution is wrong. His point is that "our" beliefs about evolution are wrong. Well, *his* beliefs about evolution certainly are wrong. I'm just glad they aren't *my* beliefs. Disproving a argument that no one is making is called a "straw man" fallacy. I tried to keep reading but I just couldn't get past chapter five. You don't have to eat a whole dish to know if it is putrid, once you have had a bite of it. I tried several bites before I could no longer stomach his self-important manipulative horse crap.

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5I started this but just couldn't get through it. I do not agree with his ideas and what he's proposing, and it wasn't interesting enough to keep me reading. I enjoy reading alternate ideas, but this just wasn't done well enough.

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Boring- I've no idea what he was taking about. My brain just switched off- didn't get past the first chapter.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Found some sections a bit repetitive but still enjoyed it and benefited from it. "When you feel that you are in a pattern of wanting what you do not have instead of what you do have, of seeing the grass in the other pasture as greener because it is in the other pasture, confront it. Challenge it each time that it come up by literally realizing that when it comes up you are not in the present moment, you are not engaged in your present energy dynamic, but rather, you are letting energy leak to a future that does not exist>"
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5To quote the author, "we have much to do together. Let us do it in wisdom and love and joy. Let us make this the human experience." Reflections on science, psychology, and spirituality. An inspiring read.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Helps to put things in life in perspective. Great.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5An excellent book for self-reflecting, healing, and positive actions. Readers can take what Mr. Zukav writes as truths (which I believe is his intention) or view it as a more metaphorical structure in which to view their life. I personally believe there is truth in this work. In The Seat of the Soul, Mr. Zukav paints a beautiful picture of our most profound center of who we are...the Soul and the context/process of which it exists. I found his engaging and descriptive narrative very helpful and hopeful in dealing with my own journey of life. His work is prescriptive, in that the ideas put fourth can be used to move toward more positive outcomes in ones life. My reading of "The Seat of the Soul" also guided me in putting episodes of my life into a more favorable and hopeful structure where growth and development to more positive states are possible. This book of New Age ideas can be a wonderful augmentation to other theological belief structures that readers may have. If you are open and looking for more meaning in your life I highly recommend this work. I plan to read others he has written.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5There are parts of this book that touch me so much that I'm moved to tears. Though I dont agree or see everything the way that the author does, I find a lot of value in his writing and how he makes you look differently at everyday life.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This is the first book of Gary Zukav's that I have read. It was great. I felt very renewed . Throughout the book Gary mentions that we all have choices. LIfe and living are choices. The book was divided into 2 parts. Part one was about soul subjects and part two was soul questions. For example: Do you believe in Soul Mates? Gary then gives an answer. I plan on rereading this again in the future as well as reading his other books. "Your external experiences reflect your internal experiences".
