BOND REFUND REJECTED

Paying a $500 “holding deposit” for a room in a private house she never moved into has proved costly for a tenant.

Tangi Huia Regina Teaukura asked the landlord for her bond back and was refused, so went to the Tenancy Tribunal asking it to order a refund.
