Australian House & Garden

Bay watch

The garden utilises the sloping site and sunny aspect to dramatic effect, with the pool poised above sloping lawns. Bluestone organic steppers from Artisan Exterior lead up to a ‘Portsea’ sun lounger and side table from The Teak Place. A young frangipani (Plumeria) acts as a centrepiece, and plantings tailor-made for the exposed site include Indian hawthorn (Rhaphiolepis indica), blue chalk sticks (Senecio serpens), lavender cotton (Santolina chamaecyparissus), aloe ‘Moonglow’. Pool finished in Designer Beadcrete ‘Crystal’ in Whyte and lined with mosaics in White Russian, Amber Tiles.
