About this ebook
Gloria Madden
During her retirement, Gloria Madden has found countless hours of free time to reminisce about her childhood and become involved in hobbies like crocheting afghans for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren while having a morning cup of tea. She began noticing some little animals in her yard, and thus began a series of stories she has dedicated to her great-grandchildren. She hopes her stories brings as much pleasure to the readers as she obtained writing them. Merry Christmas to all the children all over the world!

Christmas Candy Canes
image%2001.jpgChristmas Eve was just a few hours away.
Excitement was growing in Candy Cane Town. OH! There was so much to be done.
Santa’s little Elves were running back and forth from the candy cane machine to the plastic wrapper room. There were Elves standing by the conveyer belts and packing boxes. The Elves eager little hands and arms reaching out and taking the bright red and white candy canes and then carefully placing them in the red and green candy boxes. My goodness! Such a commotion.
Another group of Elves taped the boxes closed while another group of Elves placed the boxes in a shiny red sleigh especially chosen to deliver all those sweet candy canes.
Oh! Can you imagine those cute little Elves hurrying back and forth? What a funny sight to see.
Some of the little Elves were dancing around in circles and clapping their little hands to the music of Jingle Bells
. Do you know the words?
Please sing along with me, here we go. Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way, here we go over the snow in a magic Santa sleigh.
Oh My! I do believe there were a lot more words to that Christmas song.
Two Elves were chosen by Santa for the very important job of delivering the candy canes to all the children on Santa’s list.
Now let me double check the candy cane list,
Edward Elf said. We do not want to miss any of the little boys and girls when you make your deliveries.
Oh yes, to be sure,
answered Scott Michael Elf. The children surely will enjoy those sugar sweet treats.
Joseph Scott Elf was the youngest and so excited, he ran back and forth past the other busy Elves shouting out orders. Hurry Elves, hurry. Look where you are stepping. Do not drop any of the candy canes, be very careful.
My goodness! He gave so many orders to the Elf workers that the other Elves were getting very impatient with little Joseph Scott Elf.
Mrs. Santa heard all the commotion as she passed
