Her father carried on the family tradition growing roses and working a substantial vegetable garden.
She has a MFA in painting and now uses the landscape as a canvas and uses plants, trees and stones as the media for her creative activity.
She has written about historic gardens for the Historic Garden Review published in London and on New York State history for local publications..
