Trying to discipline a 1-year-old is pretty much impossible and a task that you don’t need to tackle until your little one is at least 2. This doesn’t mean to say that you can’t use a firm voice and the word “no” - 1-year-olds are quick to pick up on body language and tone of voice. But it does mean that you need to be realistic in terms of what you can expect when it comes to “good” behaviour. One-year-olds are notoriously “naughty”
