My baby was premature and after a very traumatic birth I went to see her in the newborn intensive care unit (NICU). The nurses asked me to put her on my naked chest. I was so surprised and not really ready for it. What's this all about? I saw other people also doing it. Even dads! Isn't it unhygienic or dangerous for the baby?
