As November 2022 trundled on, retired coach driver David Goldsmith, 73, faced the daunting prospect of a second Christmas alone.
David says, “I lived on my own and was estranged from my family. Being stuck at home with only the television for company was an ordeal that I wasn’t sure I could tolerate again.”
