With the pressure to stay fit, fabulous and at the forefront, celebs will give anything a go in the name of health and wellness. But, according to experts, A-listers may have more money than sense, as often the trends they jump on are ineffective, unsustainable – or potentially dangerous. Would you try any of these?

Imagine if your gym outfit could make muscles work harder, turning a 40-minute workout into the results you’d get from six hours in the gym. This is why Heidi Klum (below left), Ashley Graham and Madonna are said to be among many fans of fitness trend EMS (electrical muscle stimulation) training, where a full body suit is worn to stimulate muscles with electrodes while they exercise. Footballers and athletes such as Usain Bolt and Roger Federer also claim that it helps with muscle recovery, and sessions work out costing roughly £2 per minute.
