Maine residents are gripped with fear as authorities search for the suspect in a shooting at a bowling alley and a bar in the town of Lewiston that left at least 18 people dead and 13 others injured.

Residents of Lewiston, Maine and the surrounding area are on their second full day of sheltering in place as law enforcement continues searching for the man suspected of fatally shooting 18 people and wounding 13 others at a bowling alley and restaurant on Wednesday night.
The office of Maine's Chief Medical Examiner confirmed in an email to Maine Public that all 18 people who were killed have been identified. The office said the youngest victim was 14 and the oldest was 76, but that it could not yet share any additional information.
