THIS MONTH WITH THE ROYALS

REMEMBERING GAN-GAN

It seems extraordinary that this month marks one year since the passing of the late Queen, who died at the age of 96 on 8 September 2022 at Balmoral.

There will be no official public event for the anniversary – a day that also signalled King Charles’ accession to the throne – but it’s thought the Prince and Princess of Wales will lead tributes and honour the legacy of William’s beloved grandmother. The King is expected to spend the day ‘quietly and privately’ in Scotland, leaving it to the younger royals to look to the future of the monarchy.
