PREPARING THE OUTER SECTIONS
Step one Cut out a 7cm square from the bottom corners of the fabric and Thermolam pieces. Step two Press the Outer and Lining into a paper bag shape. To help with this, mark your two Outers and Lining pieces on the right side (RS) as follows: mark the middle point across the top edge; mark 8cm in from the two long sides, along the top edge; and 8cm in from the outside edges and 1cm up from the cut away bottom corners. Step three To help with positioning your Hook and Loop tape mark a horizontal line centrally 3cm down from the top edge on both your Outers, then another horizontal line 15cm below and vertical lines 1cm either side of the centre. Step four Staystitch the two Thermolam pieces to the wrong side (WS) of each of your Outers, making sure all sides are aligned. Step five Separate your Hook and Loop tape pieces, then pin and topstitch each strip to the RS
