CLEANSING SET
YOU WILL NEED
■ Fabric A: 35x20cm - Outer
■ Fabric B: 35x25cm – Lining and Drawstring Channel
■ Fabric C-E: 10x10cm each – Pads
■ Towelling: 35x12cm*
■ Ribbon, 7mm wide: 1m
■ Erasable fabric marker
■ Matching sewing thread
■ Basic sewing kit
NOTES
■ Use a 1cm seam allowance
■ *We used part of a small hand towel to make our pads.
■ Use a cup as a template for pads.
■ Use an overcast foot or overlocker for the pads..

CUTTING OUT
Step one From fabric A, cut:
Outer: two 17x20xcm
Step two From fabric B, cut:
Lining: two 17x20cm
Drawstring Channel: two 17x5cm
ASSEMBLING YOUR BAG SECTIONS
Step one Take your two Drawstring Channels and press in the two short edges to the wrong side (WS) by 1cm, press in by 1cm again. Topstitch. Fold in half WS together across the length. Press.
Step two Mark the centre point on the top of the Outer pieces, and the centre point on the Drawstring Channels.
Step three Place one Drawstring Channels on top of an Outer along the top edge, aligning top raw edges, and matching centre marks.
Step four Place a Lining piece on top, right sides (RS) together, aligning all edges. Pin together along the top edge, then sew together. 01
Press seam open. Repeat steps with your second Outer, Lining and Drawstring Channel.
