Thousands of families in South Africa are affected each year by the loss of a child to stillbirth, miscarriage, SIDS, and other causes of death during pregnancy and infancy. Sadly, this is often not spoken about. Parents and families experience a unique grieving process for which there is limited insight. The hope is that by creating awareness around this painful topic, more understanding and appropriate support will become available for bereaved parents and families.
