I DON'T really like writing about negative subjects but it's time to re-address one of those regular questions that come my way: “Should I buy - and breed with - any birds that have no tail?”
It's a great shame that so many of what we can only describe as good birds lack a tail. I have to be totally honest: really none of us know the cause. It can happen with any budgie, but more often than not it's a good bird.
