Slow Cooker Black Beans

MAKES 6 TO 8 SERVINGS

1 (16-ounce) bag black beans, rinsed and sorted*
4 cups water
2 cups vegetable stock
2 cups diced yellow onion
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 bay leaf

1. In a 6-quart slow cooker, add all ingredients. Cover and cook on high until beans are tender, about 3 hours and 30 minutes.

*We used Camellia Brand Black Beans.
