First held in 1922, the Ulster Grand Prix in Northern Ireland has enjoyed a place among the true classic road races. Sadly, Covid and the continuing financial woes of the promoters look to have confined the event to history, as it was last held in 2019, when Peter Hickman won every start and established a new outright lap record of 136.415 mph – making the Ulster the fastest road race in the world once again.
