High blood PRESSURE– are you at risk?

How will I know if my blood pressure is high?

You won’t necessarily because there are rarely symptoms. It’s often picked up during routine health checks. ‘From the age of 40 we should have our blood pressure checked every five years by the GP or practice nurse,’ says Woman’s Weekly GP Dr Gill Jenkins. ‘If you’re concerned, you can also get it checked at the pharmacy.
