“Well, for someone to be this size and keep fit, you have to eat a lot! On my plate, you will always find a good amount of carbohydrates and proteins. I also ensure I eat a lot of greens and on the side is always a dash of fruit.”
Alvin ‘Buffa’ Otieno is one of the current stars of the Kenya national rugby sevens team, Shujaa. Last season at the World Rugby Sevens Series, he single-handedly ensured the team retained its core status and was also one of the best performers at the Tokyo Olympic Games. He is nicknamed ‘The Water Buffalo’ due to his immense strength and endurance.
