South African food has always been a wonderful blend of cuisines, and a reflection of our rainbow nation. To celebrate South African flavours, we’ve taken a look at TRUELOVE’s food pages from over the years and now bring you a selection of our favourite recipes.
Food is at the heart of every home, and that’s why we’ve always been passionate about bringing you recipes that you and your family can enjoy. We’ve got something for everyone, from delectable recipes from the unforgettable late MamDorah Sitole, who was known for her innovative dishes and was a key figure in South African culinary culture, to something trendier and more modern from our own celebrated former food editor Tumi Mushi-Sebopa, who’s a star in her own right, and more recently from our trusted food contributor Liziwe Matloha.
Because nothing brings people together like good food! Cheers to more good times, love, laughter and memories around the dinner table.
