If you want to splash out, use minced steak from the butcher. The flavour is worth the extra effort.

YOU WILL NEED

1kg steak or beef mince
1tsp sea salt
1tsp black pepper
4 ciabatta buns, sliced
6 large lettuce leaves
2 large tomatoes, sliced

HOW TO DO IT

1 In a bowl, mix the mince with the salt and pepper, then shape into 6 equal-size burgers.

Heat or light a barbecue
