Midland Counties heads to East Anglia

The recent wanderings of No. 08899 Midland Counties Railway 175 1839-2014 continued during August with the crimson-liveried shunter arriving at March Whitemoor yard around August 17. Now on hire to GB Railfreight, it is the latest stop on the loco’s tour of the UK since passing to the control of Railway Support Services back in April.
