THE reason for Railway Support Services importing American TP70 switcher No. FWDX 0002 to the UK became clear during June, with the company unveiling its vision for a UK version to act as a replacement for the ever-ageing Class 08s. The project was launched ahead of the loco appearing at the Rail Live event at Long Marston on June 22/23, with it now carrying RSS logos on its cabsides.
