    This is my third Carpenter’s Star quilt. It is constructed with commercial cotton prints and Kaufman silk fabric. The setting squares of the Carpenter’s Star are inspired by the painted dot mosaics of Elspeth MacLean. Over one thousand dots/circles made, draws from a line in a 1973 song , and aptly described my mood during this challenging time.
