Quilty Treasures

Work it out

Texas-based quiltmaker and natural dyer Maura Ambrose has had one of her works immortalised as a jigsaw puzzle. She collaborated with Canadian jigsaw publisher Four Points Puzzles, which focusses on producing jigsaws that showcase contemporary artists from around the world. Maura agreed to the collaboration because the company founder, Lindsay Stead, has a background in textile design, specifically quilting. In an interview, Maura explained, “It’s cool to have my work turned into a puzzle. It’s nice having an affordable product to offer, since my quilts are very involved and therefore costly.”

The 1000-piece puzzle measures 63.5cm (25in) square
