TWO OF A KIND

ON THE MORNING OF A WORKSHOP, long tables dressed with white linen tablecloths are set up under a golden elm tree on the shaded lawn at Tambea Kitchen & Garden, ready for participants to learn about floristry, photography, brush lettering or garden design. Throughout the year, there are also cooking, botanical drawing or yoga classes on offer at this wheat and canola property in Brucedale, just north of Wagga Wagga in New South Wales.

Sophie Moloney, 35, and her mother-in-law, Michele Moloney, 67, began hosting Tambea Kitchen & Garden workshops together in 2017 at Michele’s 1930s farmhouse and sprawling garden, which serves as the perfect setting for a day filled with creativity and community connection.
