MOST PEOPLE HAVE JUST one aim for their maternity leave: to keep themselves and their baby alive. Lauren Roe, however, isn’t quite like most people. “Looking back, it was absolutely a bit insane to launch a website just a few weeks after coming home from hospital,” admits Lauren, 42, the founder and creative director of bed-linen brand I Love Linen, which she runs from her hinterland home on the border of New South Wales and Queensland. “But my mat leave was the only time I felt I could just try something.”
The clues to I Love Linen’s success were all there. She’d worked in marketing for a decade, gaining vital knowledge for launching
