With the matches now formalised, our dedicated bunch of shooters in the Western Cape also modified and upgraded our traditional .22 shoot to bring it into line with provincial-level guidelines. We launched the renewed format at our first provincial shoot on 20 March.
Despite many shooters taking a holiday over the long weekend, and the fact that two other major shooting organisations hosted events on the same day, we had 21 shooters eagerly turn out ready to ring some steel. The course of fire consisted of eight stages, each stage with ten shots and 120 second par times on all stages.
