A TRUE SISTER

Real is as real does. I was momentarily bewildered recently when someone snidely suggested that a late family member “wasn’t of course, your real sister”. The much-loved person was my younger sister with whom I shared the same mother but we had different fathers. We never ever considered each other as anything other than true siblings.
