RESPECT FOR WRITERS
I’VE written a book. I will have it typed and sent off to a publisher, but without too much expectation. In fact, I won’t even show the finished result to family or friends. This isn’t defeatism or negativity, it’s just realism.
But I now find that reading is far more pleasurable. The way writers express themselves, apart from the plot or storyline, forces my admiration.
A short example: in the epic To Kill a Mockingbird, the narrator is a pre-teen girl
