Jussie Smollett returns to court for sentencing for lying about an attack on him

The former Empire actor was convicted on five felony counts of lying to police, but he has maintained that he did not stage the 2019 attack in which he claimed to be the victim.

Former actor Jussie Smollett will appear in court Thursday to hear whether he will face time in prison after in 2021 on five felony counts of lying to the police.
