‘Florence literally arrived as we moved into Downing Street’

Fashion designer Samantha Cameron knows all about the juggle of the working mother. “I think you just have to accept that you can’t do everything,” she says, talking exclusively to HELLO! for our International Women’s Day digital issue.

Samantha, 50, raised her children Nancy, now 18, Arthur, 16, and 11-year-old Florence for six years at Downing Street from 2010 when her husband David was Prime Minister. She won many fans for her smart but modern approach to dressing, drawing comparisons with the then US First Lady Michelle Obama – someone she greatly admires – and now runs a luxury womenswear brand called Cefinn
