Beatrice and Aunty Gertie are desperate to find alternative accommodation for Angel, Ayesha tries to find out more about Denise and Ruby, and Janice responds to Lionel’s marriage proposal in an unexpected way. Langes decides to tell Lennie more about Eva’s past, Ingrid makes an offer that shocks Dominee, and Ayesha wants to know what Denise is doing to make Ruby so ill. Beatrice and Thys are worried about Aunty Gertie’s condition, Janice is shocked when she finds out why Auntie Poppie is in town, and Ingrid starts manipulating Angel.
Ingrid is hard at work keeping Angel and Daniel apart, Auntie Poppie makes Lionel understand why she is in Arendsvlei, and Aunty Gertie makes a big decision that makes Thys furious. Beatrice and Ayesha approach the police about Denise and Ruby, Lionel gets good advice from an unexpected place, and Angel and Daniel have an argument and Ingrid uses it to her advantage. Ruby is broken when her mom is arrested, Thys is shocked when he reads his mother’s will, and Thys blows off some steam with Lionel about Aunty Gertie’s will. Daniel is desperate to get a hold of Angel, and journalist Jo-Ann from Die Arendsvleier makes a disturbing request to Ayesha. The tension between Beatrice and Thys gets worse, Janice and Lionel are struggling to find each other in their relationship, and Ingrid is working on a cunning plan.
