I always loved writing and in 2012, i decided to take my lov...view moreI was born on the 15th November 1971 in Klawer, Western Cape, South Africa. I moved to Cape Town at an early age and grew up in Retreat. I always loved writing and in 2012, i decided to take my love for writing to the next level. A local newspaper gave me a platform as freelance writer and published my short stories. In 2014, I received a 100% author's grant from NLSA (Centre for the Book). In 2016 i launched 'Dogters van Sahara' through Reach Publishers and early 2018, with assistance of NLSA, launched my investigative teenage book 'Tiaan en die Jagtersbend. In 2021, Tiaan en die Jagtersbende was chosen as the Afrikaans book to be reviewed for the Funda Mzantsi Reading Competition across the country. It is during 2021, that I became a freelance editor for Tshienda Publications, until present. In the beginning of 2022, I was offered an opportunity to work as field journalist and administrator for a digital Television Channel, Atlantis Alive, until present.view less
