Back
Cast on 88 (94) 100 sts using 6mm needles.
Row 1 K1, P1 rib.
Next RS Continue working in stocking stitch with tidy chain edge at both sides.
On rows 41, 71, 101 and 121, increase (inc) 1 st inside edge stitches at both sides = 96 (102) 108 sts.
Armhole shaping
When the work measures 90 cm, cast off 5 sts at both sides = 86 (92) 98 sts.
Neck edge shaping:
When armhole measures 24 (25) 26 cm = 48 (50) 52 RS, cast off the centre 24 sts (using elastic casting off method, described above).
Now work each side separately. In alternate RS, cast off 1x 3 sts. Cast off the remaining 28 (31) 34 sts at the shoulder.
Work the other side in reverse.
Right front
Cast on 33 (36) 39 sts.
Row 1 K1, P1 rib.
Next RS Continue working in stocking stitch.
Work double edge stitches at the right-hand side of the work (= front edge) and tidy chain edge at the left-hand side (= side seam).
At the left-hand side, in rs 41, 71, 101 and 121, inc 1 st inside the edge st = 37 (40) 43 sts.
Armhole shaping
When the work measures 90 cm, dec 5 sts at the left-hand side = 32 (35) 38 sts.
When the work measures 114 (115) 116 cm, cast off (not too loosely). The front shoulder is 5 sts wider than the back shoulder. When finishing, gather the front shoulder to fit.
Left front
Work the left front like the right front, only in reverse.
Sleeves
Cast on 43 (46) 49 sts.
Work 1 row of rib from the WS (same as the back).
Next row: Continue in stocking stitch with tidy chain edges.
Shaping: Inc 1 st at both sides in every 6th row 6 times and in every 4th row 12 times = 79 (82) 85 sts. When the work measures 50 cm (= 100 rs), cast off.
Make a second sleeve identical with the first.
Pockets (make 2)
Cast on 30 sts and work 1 row of rib from the WS.
Continue working in stocking stitch with tidy chain edges at both sides.
When pocket measures 20 cm = 41 rs, cast off using the elastic casting off method.
Finishing
Sew shoulder, side and underarm seams. Gather front shoulders to fit.
Sew in sleeves. Sew pockets onto fronts 26 (27) 28 cm from the lower edge and 2,5 cm from the front edges. Weave in ends.
