Switzerland: Vegan food tech company installs glass walls at facility to show they have nothing to hide

You will have likely heard the famous Paul McCartney quote: “If slaughterhouses had glass walls, everyone would be vegetarian.” One business has used this poignant statement as a springboard for a unique concept that it hopes will gain consumer trust. Unlike the meat industry, Swiss brand Planted Foods want to show full transparency of their ingredients and production processes. Making McCartney’s statement literal within their own production facility, Planted have installed glass walls at their Switzerland-based factory, so that visitors can see exactly what goes into production of their goods.
